Re: 6 Year Old plunges from DenCo UFO!

Mom admitted it was a hoax, publicity for the reality TV gig.

Really? To whom? Did she break ranks and turn on her dumb-ass husband?

I'm trying to figure out how they expected a one-time event would lead to an ongoing reality TV gig? It's not like they could put Falcon back in the balloon and have cameras follow him on a new adventure every week.

I suppose they were hoping to get a gig as the storm-chasing family or something?

What dumb-asses.

It was in now-public court docs. It's being reported on the BBC.

Re: 6 Year Old plunges from DenCo UFO!

One thing I'll say in favor of Balloon Boy:

For once we have something Nancy Grace can rant about that doesn't involve disturbing tales of child rape or infanticide. Mom's addicted to Nancy Grace, you see, and it can sometimes be a bit much when I happen to walk through the living room and have to over-hear the details of crimes that make you completely lose faith in humanity.

Not today, though. Just abundant documentation of what idiots the Heenes are, including the boys' violent, scatological, homophobic, misogynist rap video. Sadly, I missed the part where Nancy was gonna read us the lyrics.

I say "scatological" because there's a brief instant in the video where the lyrics include the words "hidee-ho" and you see one of the kids dressed as Mr. Hanky, the Christmas Poo, giving us the character's signature wave. This was described by Grace (who might not be familiar with the character) as the child being "covered in fake excrement."

Though I do appreciate the lack of child rape, I do feel this meme is officially at the stage where Officer Bar-Brady should be making everybody move along.

Still...

Does anybody have a link to those lyrics? I couldn't understand a damned thing those kids were saying.

Which, I suppose, bodes well for their prospects in the world of hip-hop.

Nancy Grace makes me lose faith in humanity more than the things she "reports" on.

I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

I think it's funny when she's off and that other woman is the guest host. Funny because the other woman is so similar, in terms of loud makeup, loud hair, loud facial features, and just her general all-around Nancy Graceness. It's like they specifically sought out somebody cut from the same weird cloth.
