Mac Mini is 2.26 GHz or 2.53 Ghz. Option to buy high end version with Mac OSX Server.
Base model iMac is now 3.06 GHz with 1080p screen. Top end is a 27 inch monster with a core i5, though only with Radeon 4850.

Re: The Apple Store...

The 27" screen sounds impressive.  The i5 configuration might even be a reasonable value.

EDIT: I wonder if these are those new e-IPS screens...

No bluray. Oh well.

(Yeah, digital downloads are "the future", but honestly, the package of dollhouse essentially bragged that inside  were three disks with 150GB of data. Unwieldy on anything less than FIOS.)

They forgot the G3 in the evolution of the iMac section. It only helped save Apple

Re: The Apple Store...

I wonder if the new mighty mouse suffers from capacitance problems. My current mouses trackball is exceedingly unreliable.

Re: The Apple Store...

Both the 21.5- and 27-inch models include 4GB of 1066 MHz DDR3 memory, which is upgradable to 16GB across four SO-DIMM slots.

source

That might make just 8GB affordable.

Re: The Apple Store...

My sister-n-law has been in the market for her 1st Mac for a month now and I kept telling her to wait. I was FINALLY able to tell her to pull the trigger.

Re: The Apple Store...

All iMac models let you connect a second display in either extended desktop mode or video mirroring mode. The Mini DisplayPort connects to DisplayPort, DVI, dual-link DVI and VGA displays. The 27-inch model also supports input from external DisplayPort sources. Required cables and adapter are sold separately.

If I understand correctly, that means you can use the iMac display to plug in another computer and use it as a monitor eek

About frikkin time they enable this feature

Is the NVIDIA graphics processor much worse than the ATI in the more expensive iMacs?

Re: The Apple Store...

Looks like the iMac has sprouted two more ram slots for a total of four. About smurfing time.
Still just two in the Mini...
But they aren't offering a full KB anymore, just that laptop style no num pad thing.
