Fox News is a corruption of lulz
I just now clicked the link in Anonymous's signature, the one entitled, "Lulz is a corruption of LOL, which means "laugh out loud"."
Holy Mother of God, I knew Fox lacked credibility, but Dear Lord, that "news" piece was just amazing! I suspect Fox would make a paper-cut look like a dismemberment if left to their own devices.
Especially entertaining was their talk of Anonymous's "secret Web site."
And what about that poor chode who claimed his girlfriend left him after somebody posted gay porn on his MySpace because, "...she thought I was cheating on her with men."
I'm guessing this was an online "girlfriend," who he'd never actually met in the real world.
And how about the piece's recurring use of stock footage of a van exploding? That's fine if your viewers are smart enough to recognize stock footage when they see it. Fox viewers? Not so much.

That was a local Fox station, IIRC.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

I INSTALLED A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM
A PHONE TRACING SYSTEM
AND EVEN BOUGHT A DOG
... I've had seven passwords and they've got them all so far.

That dude must not be very good at making up "strong" passwords. Either that, or he keeps using the same compromised e-mail account with his MySpace.
That woman's smart, though. There's no way hackers could possibly protect themselves from a phone tracing system.
Wait a minute; phone tracing system? Doesn't she mean "caller ID?"

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it if he never changed the recovery process. OR he kept falling for the same phishing scheme.

Yeah, it takes a hard core hacker to get around that smurf.

It's okay, man! She's got a failsafe! {excitedly flails arms towards the direction of the window} DOG!

That's true, it's not FNC.

So this woman actually believed that computer geeks were going to get up off their asses and leave the house long enough to harm her family? She must not know any computer geeks.

Re: Fox News is a corruption of lulz
In viewing this news report again, I was struck by the scene of the guy with the bullhorn harassing fans at a Harry Potter book release. I too have used a bullhorn to harass Harry Potter fans!
Midnight Release for some Potter book
Does this mean that I too am a cog in the wheels of the Internet Hate Machine?
Can I get on the secret Web site now?
I want all seven of that kid's MySpace passwords.
