Dieter Rams and Jonathan Ive

I just stumbled upon this. I'm surprised nobody posted on this, yet. It would seem that Deter Rams is Jonathan Ive's main source of inspiration. Ive's work is more refined, but he likely has more to work with in terms of materials and manufacturing. The Gizmodo link has lots of other examples of Rams' work. Imagine having a house filled with all of Rams' appliances, plus all of Apple's devices. I'd feel as though I had just entered the Twilight Zone.

Very much indeed.
Braun through Dieter Rams was very refined in design.
They've totally lost it since they got bought up by some large faceless group.
by the way, when I walked past my grandmother with mi G5 case, she asked: "is that a heater?"
