Very trippy helicopter camera trick
A friend of mine elsewhere on the Web just started using the following GIF as his avatar image:
When I asked him what, exactly, we're seeing, he explained,
What you are watching is the camera synchronized to the helicopter blades... That way it appears like they aren't moving... It's done to check the blades for vibrations, offsets and such.
