SHOCKING: 7/10 Americans think Palin is not qualified to be president.

More than seven in 10 Americans think Sarah Palin is not qualified to be president, according to a new national poll.

Seventy-one percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday morning believe the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee is not qualified to be president, with 29 percent saying she does have the credentials to serve in the White House. Republicans appear split, with 52 percent saying she's qualified and 47 percent disagreeing with that view.

Actually, the shocking part is that 52% of republicans think that she is. I say if you really think she's your best shot at taking back the White House, bring it. Endless entertainment value.

Maybe she will give FOX exclusive access during her campaign. No more interviews with that big meanie Katie Couric.

Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.  Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."  They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

Because it (and her reaction to it) may have an impact on her polling numbers.

I can't deny that I love a good political train wreck.

As I understand it Trig is Sarah Palin's reaction to Levi's wang. Apparently the polling was all internal?

Nothing like a little internal polling to fudge the numbers.

The whole thing is pretty funny, Palin isn't qualified but Obama (who has less experience) is qualified. It's a good thing you don't have to pass an intelligence test to vote.

I don't think any intelligent person really bought into the idea that Palin had more experience than Obama.

There's a lot more to being qualified than experience.

Re: SHOCKING: 7/10 Americans think Palin is not qualified to be president.

Qualifications don't matter. Both Candidates A and B may be qualified (35 years old, born in US, resident for 14 years, served as President for no more than one and half terms, not disqualified by reason of conviction by the Senate,) but the real question is whether A or B, or neither, or both, would make a "good president."

Personally, I think that Palin lacks the experience to be a good president, or even a fair president. But she's qualified.

Qualification isn't summed up by "experience" .
You may want to learn the difference between those words before you question everyone else's intelligence.

I so hope she runs for POTUS next time round!

That would be ever so much fun.
