Hi,
I recently got an iMac Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz with a 17" Screen it was $50 so I thought I would fiddle with it. It came with a large crack in the LCD going all the way across but only the top (it covers nearly all of the finder menu content) and was wondering if I could replace the screen with any other 17" iMac with an Intel processor. (I.E. the 1.83ghz models.) I only ask because I was looking on the web and noticed some 17" G5 screens but read that they will not work in this model even though they fit inside. Just wondering my options..

If nothing else i will hook up an external screen but was thinking I might be able to find a similar parts computer and save some desk space. Is it possible to hook to my T.V.? I dunno much about TVs other than they are the devil and keep me from washing my dishes. It is a CRT and has AV input.
