iTunes is playing poorly

Windows XP SP3

As of yesterday, iTunes started playing VERY poorly. It is blipping and glitching and even cutting out at times. Much like a file would if downloaded from a very poor quality host via LimeWire or the sort.

It is with ALL songs. Purchased. Imported from CD. All of em.

Thanks!

Re: iTunes is playing poorly

Possible causes:
virus, virus protection, new programs old programs failing hard drive, bad memory, failing speakers, failing audio card, new drivers, streaming to remote speakers.

I have a feeling things will get less confusing if this gets moved to boot camp.
