Why do I feel some of you stay in front of your computer in the dark drinking Redbull, Rockstar, etc.

I hate all sports.
Baseball, though, is especially boring. It's excruciating to just sit there for hours and hours, waiting for anything to happen. And then when something finally does occur, like maybe somebody hitting a touchdown, everybody goes crazy, 'cause they're so starved for any kind of action.
It's just like watching a Grateful Dead concert.
Someone hitting a touchdown in baseball?

I am sure I could list at least 50 activities that involve being outside and not football, baseball and basketball.
Geocaching for one.
... and many of the people I know that support football baseball or basketball ... do it from inside their house.

In true Pariah style, fixed that for ya.
This is why I prefer F1 and Indy (more the latter than the former). Less cautions, more racing, loads more right turns.
Speaking of F1, I just heard that Toyota left F1 and Renault is considering it. That can't be good for the sport.

Re: The Yankees WIN
Well, Toyota's still got NASCAR left...
I'm sure that will help their international prestige more than F1.

Unfortunately the tree huggers are making auto racing a politically incorrect sport to enjoy.

Re: The Yankees WIN
That really has nothing to do with Toyota's $2.4 billion failure and tearful exit.

I hadn't heard that about Renault. I wouldn't be surprised if several manufacturers are a bit upset after Brawn Mercedes came and decimated the manufacturer's cup this year. Then again, there are a few groups wanting to bring F1 to the US (considering using Infineon or Laguna Seca), and I don't think Dodge, Ford, or GM would be too keen on going formula.
There's what you love to do, and then there's what you get paid to do. Those two things are often different.

I hadn't heard about Toyota and NASCAR. Or if I had, I'd completely blocked it out. Are there actual Toyota cars in NASCAR currently? What do they look like? How do the good ole boys feel about this?

- There are Toyotas in NASCAR
- They're listed as Camrys but of course they look like every other NASCAR vehicle
- The good ole boys are probably easily mollified when reminded that Toyota doesn't use union labor

Anyway, I don't see that "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" deal quite working too well in Toyota's case. Your typical NASCAR fan wouldn't get in a Camry even if it was filled with Skoal Bandit.
