Damn, it looks like the Snuggie people done ripped him off!

Say, do you think it's cool to go around wearing a Snuggie with nothing underneath?

They are snuggly-licious and other bad puns!

If not, folks would be in for a surprise if you went around with only a Snuggie on.

Post back if you actually get it. I signed up for one. I'd never pay for one of those, but free is good.

On Real Time with Bill Maher he and his writers came up with the naturally eventual symbiosis: Snuggies and Shamwow. Of course one of the many uses was to enable the user to bypass those calls of nature in case something was happening on his TV--trips to the bathroom are no more!

I just called Suzzly at the number listed on their website and no one answered, and after listening to their recorded announcement, at the very end it says "to enter your K7 security code press 4" which lets me know that they are using none other than the "Free K7 Phone Service" which is the same service I recommend in the article I wrote on "Guide to Making the Life of a Freebie Junkie Easier" which is posted in our "Freebies" forum.

I really don't feel very confident about receiving a "Free Offer" from an organization that makes a claim like this and instead of paying a reputable telephone company a monthly bill, uses a "Free Telephone Service" to handle all their important business calls? :scratch:

I hope I am wrong and everyone receives their Snuggie Blankets. I never did receive an email confirmation, but I did sign up thinking it was a legitimate offer at first. I will go ahead and leave it in this forum with a warning, but I do have my strong reservations on this offer.

Well, I should have stuck to my first instincts, because they were right on with this website. Here are some more facts for you regarding suzzly.com. They are registered under the company name of Whois Proof LLP out of Portland, Oregon when in fact, they are actually based in Berlin Germany. Whois Proof advertises "Protect your domain Whois information and keep it private with our whois privacy and anonymous private domain registration service" so this was a perfect fit for an outfit like suzzly.com. They just updated this website on October 14, 2009, too!

That sounds about right considering everything else I found out about them and we can just imagine what they will do with our personal information now! Sorry it took me so long to get my act together but I have been so busy taking care of my parents that I haven't had much computer time except when I am pretty much exhausted in the evening and the wee hours of the morning, and it makes it hard to concentrate when you are so tired. :wink:

10-28-09 Wow, so much controversy surrounding this alleged freebie - forums around the net are blowing up with people saying it’s legit, others saying it’s not, etc.  Guess I just need to sit back and watch this one unfold……..
UPDATE: Thanks to my reader Sharon for informing me that they ask for a phone number and WILL call you to try and sell you other items under the guise of answering a survey. They will not send you the snuggie unless you give them a valid phone number and then sit through 20 minutes of marketing spiel.  BUT this is up to you decide

well what i was told by my friend is she had to give a working phone#, and a sales person called her to do a 20 min survey and tryed to sell her other things, she said dont do this freebie, unless you want a call. they wont ship it if they dont call you first

That last paragraph sounds like bullsmurf to me, but the one before it is promising. Telemarketers and straight-up scammers usually aren't so particular about precisely when, or whether, they're going to call.
