iWork

I'm about to start an Accounting class in January and was wondering if that particular program would work great with the class and the work that I will have to do in it?

Well, it'll do everything except the accounting, I suppose.

Re: iWork

If you are going to be doing  that kind of stuff might as use MS Office to be on the safer side/get things right. And a full numbered (wired) kB from Apple as well.

Re: iWork

If you are starting out in Accounting 101 or the like, you won't be using a computer for any of the work directly.

It's all paper and pencil - the basics - to start with.
