Anybody had a gromacs unit?
Hi, every once in a while I see gromacs work units on this page: http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html
Has anybody processed one? Is there any way to set up the client to preferentially choose gromacs units?
(gromacs units will use altivec- to what degree, I don't know. Many distributed.net clients are altivec aware, and really kick butt. Most FAH unit do not support altivec)

Re: Anybody had a gromacs unit?
Hi,
Mac OS X version is not yet ready. They wanted to eradicate the bugs with Linux/Windows first before doing the Mac client.
Bye for now,
Bert

Yup, my Linux and Windows clients are the only ones receiving gromacs units.

Re: Anybody had a gromacs unit?
Well, the good news is that they apparently made so much progress that they send out the Gromacs units to the general public. So, the work on the Mac version may start soon.
