sorry to hear that ol buddy, thx, though I think I wi stick with normal war3 so I can keep worling on my map and just keep playing, plus I think you have to type in the cd-key your cd has. I'll ask aqua man to try it since he already has beta ro something. Get those grades up, we need ya, the world needs ya.

Re: Blak check your inbox
When you get the email it has a CD key in it, they point you to the download of the initial War3x installer, which is only 8mb, then once you open that up, it asks you for the CD key you were sent, then it installs.
Then when you start up WarCraft, you're only choices in the menu are Battle.net and Options. Then you click on battle.net and BAM, you have to download like 85+ MB of files, then restart, then download a patch.
To play regular WC3, you'd need to install WC3 again, since the beta takes over your first installation.

heh guess they dont want to reveal any of the single plyr story eh? I'll bet the beta relaly just checks if your typing in the cd key for your cd, and t also has a datbase, ah well. Would it really be worth giving up normal war3? I mean and then I woul have to reinstall when beta is done with.....

I'm pretty sure it doesn't checks your original CD-Key. The only reason I can really think of that blizzard even had you give your CD in the first place is to make sure people w/ the pirated CD-keys (the ones that blizzard banned) didn't sign up for the beta.

Well... the beta has how long to go still? And you do want to be a couple steps ahead of your enimies once the full game comes out.
