I've been quite worried about this lately. They said Christmas season, and so far, not even a demo...

That is all.

Re: UT 2003, When? Its being show'ed at MacWorld
In a way, it's a good thing. The PC version just got its 2nd patch, almost as many changes as the first. They look worthwhile, and the Mac version will almost certainly ship incorporating them; but meantime Epic probably isn't sure how long they'll take to implement in X. The MW list can always change back if things go fast.
However, it does mean they won't make the Xmas target. A demo at most by New Year's, I'd think; even going gold Monday would mean a 1-3 week lag to shelves... btw, there was an updated PC demo a month or so ago; patch improvements and half again the size, almost certainly the increased size (145MB vs. 97.7) means a demo for broadband and CD (mag) distro, with the same maps but the extra textures and other details missing from the first demo, which was limited to make it a sub- 100MB DL.
The first PC demo looked great; the shipping game is amazing. A demo on the MA CD like the 2nd would sell a lot of Mac editions.
