advice on girls
it dawned on me today that i really woudn't know what to say if i wanted to meet a girl i just saw at school and didn't know already. Because i almost always had classes with them or had friends who could introduce me. So heres my question what would u say to meet a random girl that u say around school?
hopefully another answer besdies rope, lime, and shovel

Re: advice on girls
Do what i do, just introduce yourself to them, and become friends and stuff BEFORE considering anything else. That way, you'll know whether she's really worth it or not.

Never in my life have I had to introduce myself unless it was like formal for school or something.
The first thing I say to people is never something like "Hello, my name is Francisco. Let me tell you a little about myself. I like Macs and I enjoy programming. etc. etc. Given this information, would you take it into consideration to become my friend?"
The first thing I probably say to people is like "hey what was the homework last night" (and this is the thing I most often say to people too hehe). Or "what the smurf does that say on the board". Never "My name is..." or any of that junk.
In fact, I can honestly say I cannot remember how I made most my friends.

Some people are really good at the pick-up line thing, they can just jump right into conversation with someone they've never met. However, if you're not, I'd suggest staying far away from these types of "random" meetings.

Ohhhh... so thats why all those girls run away fomr me in the halls now...
I can't give much advice on this... I'm no ladys man myself. Infact this is a major problem I have with girls. Except my friends in which it does not matter.
I get ver flustered whn I met a girls I don't know. I'll get over it at somepoint though.

rope, shovel, lime
Word.
That or just say hi. When I meet new people I try to think, "they already like me, so just be cool", it works. Just act like they are already your friend.

Someone should make this thread a sticky, so we don't have to do this once a week.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: advice on girls
We should also sticky the "What does your avatar mean?" thread, as well as the "Where can I pirate software?" ones.

No, I had it right the way I wrote it.
Are you sure? Because I think it's right in the fixed version. Especially in yet another thread about girls.

Re: advice on girls
If you want to meet people, don't count on just talking to random people... stuff like that only happens in the movies/tv... it's what "they" want you to think so they can sell you products that make you think what they want you to think is how you should think... wink.gif
WTF?
Anyway, just say. "Hey how u doing" (like Joey). It sometimes makes them laugh, and they don't expect a guy to really say something like that. Especially if you look like a Skater boy, like me!!!

Ignore my childish user name. I created it years ago.

Re: advice on girls
I've never known someone who just goes up and talks to random girls to ever be succesful... the girl just usually says something like "i'll think about it" which is a nice way of saying "leave me the **** alone." If you want to meet people, don't count on just talking to random people... stuff like that only happens in the movies/tv... it's what "they" want you to think so they can sell you products that make you think what they want you to think is how you should think...
Maybe your just ugly.
I'm going to have to agree with your sisters hot, on this one. Going up to random people works, you just need to be confident. Look, if you think someone is hot, or what ever, then I say go an talk to them. Who knows maybe they turn out to be the coolest person you ever met.

Re: advice on girls
as gods gift to women, I think my input here will be most valuable
(yeah, sure...)
There are two very impotant things to remember, Number One: be confident in everything you do, women can smell fear! Number Two: make them laugh, this is usually the most effective way of breaking the ice. Personally, I dont ask for a number for a while... I like to take it slow, but if you aren't gonna see her again for a while then the number is a must (unless you like getting no sleep whatsoever)
Just remember homie, aproach with some swagger and personality and you cant lose, worst thing that can happen is she brushes you off...
her loss

Yes I'm sure you smurfing grammar nazi. I meant it like a sticky note.
