What kind of car do you have?
Simple question. Give whatever specs you want. Post an image of your car (well, not YOURS unless you want to, but something from a manufacturer's site).
Me: 2000 Honda Insight Gas-Electric Hybrid in Silver.
2 seats, 3 doors. Manual 5-speed trans.
67 HP 995cc inline 3, plus a 10KW electric motor
Gets about 75-80 MPG, 0-60 in 10.6 sec.

My dad's car is a Saab 9-5 Aero:
2.3 liter dynamically turbocharged engine with 250 h.p.
5-speed Manual Transmission
27 mpg highway when carrying four people, a trunk full of luggage, and a car-top carrier with ski equipment.

i have a mere aston martin to tide myself over for the time
its powered by a timid V12 at a simple 5935cc, itll do for a few weeks

No, earlier it was "what was your first car?" ('91 dodge minivan - well, the first i drove anyway)
Now, it's "What is your current car?"
Not "what is your dream car?" (lotus exige, btw)
also the pictures.
Meh. I'll take you on an a distance race any day! Me in a little 995cc (61 cu.in.) gas-electric and you in a massive DB7. I'll beat everyone here....can't beat 800+ miles on a tank of gas unless you have a 50 gallon tank.
Anyway....
No one else with an insight? Or even a honda? Any cool technologies like a GPS system?

nah, my first car is gonna be a 91 accord sedan, but its in excellent condition - plus its got trunk space for lotsa subs

oops, right. The DB7 is a Vantage i believe?
Crap. All these british car manufacturers naming their cars alliterally.
Lotus: Elan, Exige, Europa, Elise, Et cetera.
Grr.
No, I love the Insight. One kick-ass car - it almost has sports car handling, and it's faster (MaxS ~ 120MPH) than most of my friends' cars (of course, they're 96 saturns and such).

I never got to :drive: it.... (being only 14 at the time anyway... and being as how mom didn't even drive it once before ridding herself of it...)
I wanted to fix it up and have a HUGE van for taking along some friends on Major Haul LIberation Trips...
Gee... I used to notl ike the older ford body style... but now I want a pre-93 ford van so that I can have that style
I have wanted one of the VW "hippy vans" for awhile though
Being only 15 now I guess I don't need to worry about it for a few months

I dunno...I never had anything for the 'classic' cars. I like new and fancy rather than old and nostalgic. Much rather have a Lotus Elise than a 1967 Corvette.
but the Insight is goooood...

Adam (W'rk) and I saw 3 Aston Martins at Neiman Marcus last month. He got very excited. I didn't really care, but if they had been Hybrid Civics, I would have been drooling.

Why hybrid civics? My friend has one and really it's not that different from a normal civic. The engine is a little quieter, it has the auto-stop at stoplights, and there's a green "hybrid" logo on the back. Also the instrument panel is different.
The Insight is MUCH cooler, believe you me....
