So, it was thurday december 19 2002 at almost 6pm (CET).
I had just closed Snak and Chimera and was about to start doing a remix. So the first app I started was Spark so that I could load the samples. Then, not even a second after I launched the app I heard a sharp noise, very loud. I asked my parents what it was, but they didn't know. Then I thought, maybe it's my computer, since it does make a sharp noise but never this loud. I shut down the computer and unplugged it. The sound didn't go away.

Then we went to the other room to check if was coming from there. Nothing..
We returned to the living room and the our eye was on the iBook. Immediatly we shut that one too. The sounds was still there, making us deaf every second.
We kept searching for the root. Maybe it was the smoke alarm. But only in our apartement? Nope, it couldn't be the smoke alarm. Aha, the cable boxes where our cable comes in came to mind.

It almost looked as if it came from there. I decided to go to my room. The sound was louder in there. My parents, who were still in the living room said the sound was disappearing. But it wasn't in my room.

Obviously the sound  should come from my room. But from where? An infected mosquito? In the winter? Nah! I disconnected everything. Still that sharp sound.

I don't know why, but I felt the urge to see what time it was. I checked my watch, and there it was, the source of the sound. Seems my battery was getting low.

Oh well,.. stupid japanese alarms
