Yeah, wouldnt it be cool if we had one big_smile

I can do some web design, but not any of the very advanced stuff. If you are intrested in either working on desigining it, coding it, making graphics, etc, any combo of the above, or whatever, please PM me, or email me at JediKnightChewie@earthlink.net, or post here. Id rather not have the whole burden placed on one person (unless they want that), so the more help we have the merrier. If you aleady have some ideas please feel free to send them over.

My webpage skills suck...
I only got Photoshop Elements so anything I make is a result of doodling (sig)...
I've had some graphic design but I suck (wanna see my avocado pict big_smile )...

But i'll help keep you awake with feces throwing!!! :shifty:

I can help out a bit, time permitting.

My conceptual skills are OK, and I have the tools for the job, but my time is quite limited these days. I'll be happy to try to put together whatever I can, though.

If you guys could help by taking screenies in-game, that'd be awesome.

Whatever else you want (articles, tutorials, FAQ, game etiquette), feel free to contribute, and maybe we can make this a group project. wink

Yeah i'd probably need screenshots/logos/SW goodies, and maybe an idea of what you'd like designed before I could do something in Elements.

I can do graphics!!! I have any software we could possibly need (except for 3d modeling stuff). Graphic design has kept me fed and clothed for a long time. HTML is not my forte', but I can do some. I have Dreamweaver, Flash, & Fireworks, though my nephew is the guru in that dept.
If we ever want to have custom clan skins, I can work on those too. I haven't done any for JKII yet, but I did a few for UT and they won't be too different.

Hmmmm, that custom skin idea does sound a lil intriguing. Might be something to look into once the division gets on its feet more.

NOOOO a ping max at 400. DAMN!! My suggestion would be to up that, or turn it off. Even though I have a cable Modem, i still get horrible ping.

Just had a thought about our temporary web-page, the one with the server tracker: we should include a link to the forums on the page. That way, if we come across someone who's interested in joining, we could tell them to head to our page and click on the forum link, rather than having to type out the forum address to send 'em here.

Any chance we could get that up on the page?

OK folks. As the new folks start to trickle in I think we should have a tutorial or something easy for them to find that will answer many of their questions. It would be cool ot have this on our *cough* web page, and its as good a place as any to work on some content.

What all do you think we would need for this, somethign to explain stuff to the noobs and a refrence for those of us who forget stuff.

- link to patches (for pc users and stuff) and ears big download thing
- link to yahoo groups calendar and the clan macaddict sign up page.
- email address of treasurer (or contact instructions)
- how to get to the irc room (in case people ever start using that again wink )
- instructions on how to do various things in game, screen shots, other cool things that are asked about in the forums
- general etiquette
- link to the forums

anything else? this is just off the top of my head so im sure i missed a few things. It would be really cool if we could just revamp the whole temp page into something cool, and then maybe even put that on the server so people can find our forums easier and perhaps be more compelled to join us.

We have people here with skills and software who can do some neat things, but we need content, or at least soem good ideas on what to put on the page and maybe a general design. any input on what you guys would like to see would be very appreicated smile
