Burning an iso image
I have a few iso files I want to burn to a cd. I've done it before on my pc using nero, but I can't find how to do it on my mac. I use Toast to burn my hybrid data cds and vcds, but can't find any way to burn an iso using it. Checking the help for toast brought up no mention of how to do it. Is it possible to do on a Mac and would I need a different application to do it?
Thanks

Re: Burning an iso image
The hybrids that toast burns use hfs+ and iso9660, so they should work just fine in any situation where you would need the iso. Also, what version of toast are you using and on what system (9 or X)?

Re: Burning an iso image
do you mean you have iso image files? I think you can use Disk Image in Toast to select an iso. It usually gives an error but it works. If you're in OS X you can also try to use Disk Copy. There's a menu item called Burn Image. That sometimes works, depending on the image.

Re: Burning an iso image
It's the latest version of toast, as far as i know, 5.2.1 running in os 10.2.5. So I could just throw a .iso image into toast and it can burn it onto a cd to be used?

Re: Burning an iso image
I achieved this the other day with a Gentoo.iso. All I did was open the .iso image and clicked burn cd, i popped in a blank cd and then 30 seconds later I had me a Gentoo installation cd, which actually works

Re: Burning an iso image
In Toast X press on the tiny arrow by OTHER (next to Data-Audio-Copy) and choose ISO 9660 format...burn drive.
For individual files use the Mac Hybrid format under Data.
