PLEASE HOW DO I UNINSTALL SET@HOME?
i cant uninstall the thing... the script doesnt work, or i dont know what to open the script with... if i trash the seti@home app or its docs i keep getting a popup window telling me the screen saver cant run because it cant find seti@home in the applications folder... so i put it back to get rid of the message but now i just want it off.... please help me

You have to run the uninstall script in the terminal. There should be documentation in the same folder as the script tell you how to do it.

Whoa, there. I haven't dabbled in UNIX too much, but if that's what I think it is, that's a command to wipe the entire root drive (and ignore prompts for permissions)!
DO NOT USE THAT COMMAND!
Titanium X, if that's meant as a joke, please add something in there to make it clear. If someone with no UNIX experience were to read and use that command...well, the point's evident enough.

That's probably why the dweeb put it there.
If you're using the SETI@Home CLI, you can just drag the folder to the trash - there's no fanciness.

Drag the script to an open terminal window.
It should put the path to it on the command line. Hit enter to execute the script.
