Performa 6400 will not boot
I own a Performa 6400, as a secondary computer and I attempted to boot it today after not using it for several months. The problem is that it did not boot, I have a feeling that it has a bad power supply. I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the power supply from this model or if anyone else has another idea as to what the problem is?

check out http://www.zone6400.com for complete teardown instruction. Try replacing the PRAM battery first, though.

Re: Performa 6400 will not boot
I have a 6400, too, and still use it sometimes for audio work or to drive an old laser printer. I've only had boot problems once, when the Mac-VGA adapter went bad. Somehow that kept it from booting.
