No I haven't. I'm hispanic and my wife is Irish. Don't let the skin color of whoever you date stop you. I find this whole disgrace and hatred to dating out side of one's ethnicity(not neccesarily one's race since we are all human) to be an old stigma. Have fun and if you really have geniune feelings for her don't let anything stop it from happening.

seriously, I grew up in an enviroment where my mothers side of the family is extremily racist (well, they are pretty much anything that is anti 100% them, which means cause i decided to not blindly follow their ideology, they disowned me and i got screwed  ), and I dont see why a persons looks (or genes) have anything to do with a relationship. It dosent matter what enviroment or culture or what ever a person grew up in, because thats not who they are if they choose to be diffrent. The only thing that matters about a person is who they decide they want to be.

What's race? It means nothing to me. My advice on race has always been "Be colorblind. If we ignore it, it will go away." (Meaning racial problems.)

I remember having a conversation with an older co-worker years ago, and she opined that people shouldn't date "outside their kind". I replied, "you mean humans"? I don't think she got it, but I made my point. We're all the same species; it's just that some people draw arbitrary distinctions between colors, races and creeds. I say love transcends all. If more people followed your example, we'd all wind up as "mixed race", and there wouldn't be any of these discussions.

Then again, maybe not. Tiger Woods is caucasian, black, indian, and asian, but that didn't stop Fuzzy Zoeller from assuming he was just black.

Earth to Egress . . . um, that's beautiful and all, but the fact of the matter is that we live in a world where "racial problems" do exist, and deadmanwalking will likely encounter people who won't approve of his choices and will tell him so. I don't think ignoring one's skin color is the answer. For many people, race, creed, ethnicity, sexuality, etc., contribute significantly to their sense of self, which is probably something they also would like their partner or whomever they date to understand and embrace. Don't get me wrong, I applaud your point of view, but I think it's important to be prepared for the Fuzzy Zoellers of the world.

deadmanwalking, glad to hear it's going so well. I would encourage you to think about checking into some literature on interracial dating, if only to give you a better sense of some of the social issues that interracial couples may face.
