I was lucky enough to be in Jr HS when this was a hit on the radio. Jr HS was urban, so there were lots of non-White bread folks to get to know. One girl was an immigrant from Iran.

Seemed like it was a good idea then. Still think it works.

Back on topic. I think we should agree to disagree. I could try to make some point about Cronulla, but that would be petty, and a little unfair.

Still, I think that ignoring racial differences would eliminate one more source of strife. We can celebrate our differences, but what does that achieve? I think that the negative effects of racial classification far outweigh the positive ones.

For Americans: Morgan Freeman is on 60 Minutes tonight. It could blow up into another Bill Cosby-style "controversy", so you might want to catch it.

in this backwater of the world...
most white females with black men are totally trashed out. they have no self esteem, referred to as hos, and have a general 4th world look about them. dirty.. and not the good kind. many are grossly overweight yet still attempt to get by with an MTV bad girl look with old, stained spandex and torn shirt. the men are in whatever style is current "gangsta" with plenty of bling bling.
and they walk behind the man with all the kids totally subservient.
and most of the relationships end with dad hitting the road leaving mom broke, w/kids, no home, no anything that anyone regardless of race wants.
sad, but true.
whereas
most black females with white men are intelligent, attractive (that word doesn't refer to just "looks")
they have their dignity and self esteem.
not 100%.. but 4 out of 5 holds true around here.

like I said earlier. live the dream if that is what winds your watch.
I just see too many mixes that cost someone their "self"
and that is what is just wrong. regardless of color.
