Re: SETi Que app
is there an app that will store seti work units because my mac is not online all the time anymore?
i use os x
Yes, there are some workunit cache programs out there for Macs. Start here, on the SETI@home site. The Mac-specific ones are at the top of the list. Down a little ways are some UNIX-based ones that you can probably adapt, if you aren't adverse to using the command-line (Terminal).
Someone else will need to tell you how good they are, though, because I use one I wrote myself
I wasn't happy with the ones I checked out, mainly because they were mostly geared towards the screen saver version & didn't have the degree of control I was looking for.

Re: SETi Que app
If you're wanting to run two copies of seti@home to take advantage of your dual CPUs, be aware that you will need to run the command-line version (from two separate directories); I'd hate to think what two copies of the screensaver version running at once might do
I don't know if it would work, but you could try making a copy of the SETI Mania application directory, and running two copies. They'll either work independently or they won't (helpful, I know
I'd offer to send you the set of scripts I use to manage caching, but I never wrote any documentation and wouldn't want to inflict undocumented scripts on you
I mainly wrote the scripts over a weekend last year, and of course didn't write any documentation at the time.

Re: SETi Que app
I was hoping someone else might jump in, but oh well
.
I did a little digging, & found some more stuff on the SETI@Netherlands site. Here's the link directly to their Mac download page.
Take a look at the add-ons that they list. I personally run the SetiDockling "dockling" app on my computer, to show me the status of both running copies of sah (since I run them in the background).
As far as cache programs, SETICNTL looks like it might do the trick for you. It says the source code is included, but, other than bulking up the download, you can ignore it.
Let me know if this works for you. Good luck
