Re: What's on your desk?

Detail... oh boy. This list goes from right to left, back to front, bottom to top.

Computer:
- Dual 800 G4 with an 80GB firewire drive on top of it
- a 19" Hitachi RasterOps MC7515 monitor with 4 Looney Tunes figurines on top of it
- Monsoon flat panel speakers

In front of the G4 (from closest to farthest):
- an empty box for a Sharp Zaurus lithium-ion battery right in front of the G4
- a USB cable extension right to the left of the box
- a box for a Sharp Zaurus battery charger
- a headphone adapter thing, to go from the small plug to the big plug
- a red rubber band
- a small disposable lint free CD wipe
- an empty 7up can
- Wacom tablet with 2 of my senior pictures sitting on it

In front of the monitor (from closest to farthest):
- Volume puck for Monsoon speakers
- a half full 7up can
- an unopened Cowabunga Fruit Pie (apple)
- Apple pro mouse
- mousepad with built in jelly-like wrist pad
- Apple Pro keyboard
- 6 post-it notes arranged in no particular pattern
- 1 piece of printer paper with notes, folded "hamburger style"

The void:
- Small shelf, organized from left to right: Games, 3D World Magazine CDs, random CDs like ProTools Free, a Rio Mp3 player which I intend to sell now that I have an iPod
- some strange magnifying glass thing that looks almost anthropomorphic
- A bucket of pens, 3D glasses (anaglyph AND pulfrich styles), and a paintbrush used to brush dust off of small, complex things.
- a toy car (VW Beetle)
- two lithium ion batteries
- chapstick
- a $20 bill folded in sort of a 3D diamond shape
- A serial to USB adapter
- a spool of blank CDs
- post it notes, both used and unused
- a large stack of MacAddict discs
- a wooden mannequin hovering over one of those lightning ball things
- a stack of 4 VHS tapes with a box of Kleenex on top, with a single photograph lodged between them
- a pen
- CD scratch repair stuff in a bottle
- Space Balls DVD, with the Lord of the Rings box set DVDs on top. Above that is the senior picture of a friend, which is covered by an unfolded kleenex. On top of that is a few post it notes and quad-folded pieces of binder paper (notes from my pocket), and holding the entire stack together is the Max Payne CD out of its jewel case.
- About 6 CD-RWs with old backups underneath a stack of about 20 random CDs that I burned which I found strewn about the room while I was cleaning
- Yet another stack: blank CDs in jewel cases, the box for Medal of Honor, Riven CDs, Sennheiser headphone instruction manual, game CDs, three 3D World Magazine CDs, an audio CD single of BT's "Dreaming," Myth II CD, And the newest MacAddict CD

And that's just the stuff on the desk.

Just for kicks, here's some of what is under the desk. All the cool stuff is not in this room, as I moved it all out while this room was being painted.

Under the desk:
- Spool of CD-R backups
- 19 CDs of classical music in jewel cases
- empty VHS boxes
- Reason 1.0 music software
- Reason 2.0 upgrade
- Umax Astra 1220S scanner
- Subwoofer with papers and Max Payne box on top of it
- A cardboard tube
- A joystick
- Orchestral strings box for Reason
- TechTool Pro box
- Toast Titanium box
- Koss headphones
- Adobe Digital Video Collection academic edition box (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)
- OS X Jaguar box
- Animation Master 2000 manual
- Midiman Oxygen 8 MIDI USB keyboard
- Matrix DVD, Yellow Dog Linux CD case, Matrix Revisited DVD, Antitrust DVD, Star Wars Episode 2 DVD, Monsters Inc DVD

That's about it. I'm missing things like my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, iPod, Canon S200 camera, etc, which are in a different room, but should be on my desk.
