Server Drop on Sleep

Hi,

Is there a way to get OS 8 and/or 9 to not drop its servers when it goes to sleep?  I have a beige G3 at home that I want to use as a server, but I family doesn't like one) entering passwords with Keychain, and two) having servers dissapear on sleep.

Is there anything that I can do to prevent the Keychain from pestering people on startup?  (There is no password on the keychains but there is one on the server.)

Is there anything I can do to have the computers save the servers on sleep?

Thanks,

Re: Server Drop on Sleep

to keep the servers active after sleep, you have to actually turn sleep off.

turn the "Spin Hard Disk Down" to never and turn the "Sleep" to never.

then set a seperate time for Display at, say, 5 minutes.
