Airport/router question
AARRGGHH!
Can anyone please help me out here?! I've got a new Siemens SpeedStream 2-port router. I have it hooked up and running with my PC just fine. I want to hook my Graphite Base Station up too it, is this possible? At the moment, I can't even get my G4/867 up and running thru Ethernet. I got the PC configured thru the browser just fine, not so with my G4--- WTF! All the lights on the router are up just fine, not that that means anything....
I guess the first step is getting on thru Ethernet, any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: Airport/router question
Does the router you bought assign internal addresses by DHCP? I'm guessing it does, and this should work fine over ethernet. I use a dirt cheap CompUSA router ($39) and it works great on my PC/Mac network.
Under OS X make sure that you have your Mac set to configure using DHCP. You'll have to make sure your router is assigning DHCP addresses.

Re: Airport/router question
Hey, thanks for the reply. I got it figured out. In the Airport setup, I was forgetting to set it to run on a LAN.
BTW, I got this router at Fry's for $29.99. Woohoo!!
