How do I network two computers in OS X?

I have two computers running OS X on an airport network.  One is connected to a Cable modem and is sharing the internet connection to the other.

I just want to be able to move file from one to the other, the way I was able to under OS 9.

I have set up file sharing on both machines, but where is the X equivilent of the Network Browser?

I have been using macs for a long time, but frankly, this has got me stumped.  What am I missing?

When you are in the Finder, choose "Connect to Server" from the "Go" menu.
