Ok now if we dont want our server to die like the MOH server is, were gonna need to start doing some advertising in places other than the forums here. Actually especially other than the forums here. These forums just do not get the traffic.

So heres the deal. Everyone got a copy of GameRanger right?

Well I propose we use GameRanger to advertise for us. By this I mean: Someone just host a 12 person (12 person being the server max) JKII room on GameRanger whenever they are on. No they dont need to play, just set a room up then go do anything you want.

But heres the important part. In the description of the room you need to put something like this: MacAddict Clan Server @ <IP>

Now if you want to play on the server too, just set the room up then go play. You can leave GR on while your on JKII. GameRanger gets a lot of ppl passing thru. I gurantee more ppl will see the server IP than they would via the JKII list of servers area.

Now to make this a sucess we need to start advertising like this as soon as the server settings are finalized. No need ppl coming to play and seeing a under construction sign. We need to look as professional as possible to gain players and potential future members of the division.

Ive seen other clans doing this tactic for their own server and it does payoff for them.
