I know I could certainly use a bit of practice (I'm sure bird, benwards, and ear could verify that). wink

So, now that we have a server...let's organize a practice session. Maybe make it a regular thing?

Please post in here when would be a good time for you (try to pick a few times, for maximum compatibility with others' schedules).

As for me, the best times of availability are Sun - Tues nights, after 10pm EDT. I may be able to scare up another time or two during the week, but I'll just start with those times for now. (Of course, those times are pending family cooperation on my end...babies and toddlers sometimes have their own ideas about what Dad should be doing late at night).

I work until about 5 PDT and I might be going out for a little today but should be back by 6.

i think it would be cool to just have a regular practice night, kind of like omega. practicing as a group has soem good advantages. i know at my lan party, when those omega peps would get on a team against the others, and when they had like, 4 people coming after the falg you are defending..... eek eek eek

i know i could definatley use some practice, but seeing as how im going to be reworking my work schedule to go around my soon to be full time student aganness, ill refrain from posting a schedule that is bound to change soon, but ill do what i can to make sure that what ever you guys pick out, i can make

My schedule's pretty open right now, except for Sunday nights. Afternoons and evenings Pacific time on other nights would work for me.

Ya know if we have our own practice night we would need to take the server off the list of public servers or put a pass on so only MA ppl could get on. Unless you intend to make it an open practice for anyone to come.

I can be on most eves after like 9 pm EST. Mon & Thurs are supposed to be our Wolfenstein nights, but my clan has mostly moved to ET so it's no big deal right now.

Weekends can be kinda sketchy, so I'll stick with weeknights for now.

OK...we had some nice action on the server tonight...I think we may be on to something here... wink

Anyhow, how does Tuesday night, 10:30pm EDT (7:30pm PDT) sound for a practice session?

We can password the server for an hour or so and share some knowledge, maybe get the feel for each others' playing styles (hint: I'll be the one running around like an idiot, slashing at air wink ).

Also, maybe we can discuss a schedule for the server, as far as stuff like having a "all weapons on/no force" night (or something).

Aa for server-related discussions, probably better carried out in IRC. I never can read text quickly enough ingame without having to scroll up.

Well TV sucks on Mon and Tue so that sounds good to me big_smile .

Why dont we just password the server for the week and then open it up on weekends or something.

Let's just make this first one informal. I'd like to cover things like movement (rolls, flips, kicks, stuff like that). If at all possible, I may turn off ALL weapons, at least for a bit.

oops. mondays and tuesdays my normal work schedule is from 6-9 pm, although yesterday i worked from noon till after 9 (although i was earning $4/hour more then usual twisted ), and today i was going to break usual schedule so that i could go car shopping with my mom (after i go to my college and make sure they give me credit for all my ap tests so i can register earlier), and who knows if im going to work today tongue . ill try and be home by then big_smile

Well, I may have an actual meatlife social enagement tonight (7/22), but I'll see if I can't at least postpone it for a while to make it to practice. I'll try to be on at 7pm, just in case others can get on a little early, as well.

Are we going to change this schedule season-to-season? In the Fall, I'll be teaching night classes, and one of them will be on Tuesdays, so, unless I make playing JK2 a class project (...hey, that's just crazy enough to work!...), I won't be able to make it. Things will change every term for me. shrug

Can we set a time limit on that portion of practice? Don't know what kinda experiences you guys have had, but in our RTCW clan, after about 40 minutes of basic training things, people tend to get really bored and start goofing off anyway. (I know I do)

We all gonna idle or meet in IRC before/after also? I'll be in the room anyway. (Remember, it's Yandros)

Mmmmm, I'm hosting a Wolfenstein game Wed nights - it's a regular kinda thing. May be on after that tomorrow, or later in the week even.

Good practice tonight I think. I'd like to learn some more saber moves & defense though. Dunno why my strong stance doesn't work on the server either. Hafta pick apart my cfg I guess. Ugh.
