I'm in.  If it's the first week in August, it'll have to be weekdays for me, because I'll probably be out of town on the 'ends. 

Night's better for me, but since that's no good for benwards, I'd say afternoons.  What is this "morning" you speak of?   

For duels, I'd say max out jump and all three saber powers, and nothing else.  Any map will do.  One frag per match is probably best.

I suggest we all practice a little duelling etiquette -- yes, NC, I'm looking in your direction -- by bowing before a duel.  It is customary.

With your lightsaber off, you crouch.  Look down if you want to make it look good.

I'd love to play, but I don't really know when I'd be able to in advance.
I have orientation this Friday pretty much all day, and then next week I think we were going to St. Louis to visit relatives (but I've expressed my displeasure at participating, so I might not have to go at all).
The week after that trip my dad has the tram ride across MN (which would be a good time if I'm not getting ready for school yet, but he'll be back by the weekend).
Any weekday afternoon would be perfect, as long as I'm home
Weekend afternoons aren't so sure (my dad will probably drag me outside to weed the garden, play tennis, or chaffuer him around).

I think having saber and jump powers maxed out is a good idea, but I'd also like to have push and pull on, as well (maybe not maxed out, more like, level 2).

As for maps, I can only comment on the extras I threw together as I haven't really played the standard ones recently
Basically everything in the pack is good, but I think Moria should be thrown out for serious dueling because of how big (and slow, and dark, and tricky) it is.
Maybe I'll play the others and see which ones I like, then get back to you...

Ok, the standard maps that I think would be good are:

- Shuttle Bay
- Carbon Chamber
- Trial Pit
- Hangar Bay 72
- Ceremonial Hall

I've decided against Naboo Reactor from the map pack cause it's too small and you can push people into the hole very easily...
So, my recommended list from the map pack is now:

- Bushido
- Coruscant Promenade (should be ok even though there are places to grip/push people off)
- Geonosis Hangar (should be ok even though there are places to grip/push people off)
- Kamino Platform (a gust of wind miraculously throws you back onto the platform whenever you fall off )
- Jedi Council
- Matrix Sparring Program
- Matrix Subway Station (watch out for trains )

So it looks like weekdays in the afternoon/evening seems better for around that time period.

Anyone got a list of the duel maps on the server right now, like to decide what map we want on the different levels of the tourney.

Thinking since we dont have a lot of ppl going into this, about having a lil round robin play thing before the tourney date...ya know to set up who plays who/etc.

Well do you know the standard ones names?

I dont know anymore cause I added a bunch of 3rd party ones and so I forget which is which.

I don't think this is a standard duel map.  Doesn't show up in my unaltered copy, anyway.
I think you forgot "Imperial Labs: Raven" in the standard list, but no foul, as that map sucks anyway.
