Re: What's a useful Mac App you'd like to see?

Primarily, I'd like to see an Apple version of Office. I'm sick of Microsoft's half-assed carbon port and the little, annoying glitches it has.

Uh, try AppleWorks. And don't give me that crap about it sucking. You just wait till 7...

Re: What's a useful Mac App you'd like to see?

Have Powerbook, take it places.
Do not have problem with network connections per se, the issue is all the other stuff, e.g.:

default (or any printers)
entourage settings
VPC network method, etc.

would like it to remeber settings for regular locations & then remind/prompt for non-regular locations.

Something along the lines of Phat Linux. An entire Linux distro in a single app would make it much easier for OSS developers to port apps to OS X, faster than emulation and easier than dual-booting.
