I rarely agree with Northwind, I rarely agree with anyone on everything. 

However, as a Christian you're suppose to turn the other cheek or did you forget that part.  Remember...hate the sin, but love the sinner.

Northwind, no I am not some Bush asslicker... I didn't even vote for him. You have a problem with news of actual progress in Iraq?  Yes, God forbid the man you hate so much is actually accomplishing some of his goals he set forth for that country. Geezus H. Christ give it a rest.

Truth is, there is a lot of good being done in Iraq that we are unaware of.  So many people in Mini Stink go on and on about how Iraq is just a huge mess, but in all actuality, it isn't. Put your hatred of Bush aside for just one fleating moment of your life and be happy that some good is being accomplished.

It seems like you want everything to fail so miserably over there just so you can say "I TOLD YOU BUSH ASSLICKERS THIS WOULD HAPPEN!" instead of wishing for things to go well so our mothers/fathers/sons/daughters//brothers/sisters/friends/neighbors can come home ASAP.

I doubt everything there is rosy and peachy.  There is a lot of work to be done yet.  Part of the problem there is the people, not that their bad, but they lack the concept of "Live and let Live", you know...because your neighbors are/think/believe different than you doesn't make them evil, nor does it mean you need to kill them.

The mind-set needs to change over there, and that will take a long time to happen.  Until then, democracy (or anything close to it) in the region is only a dream.
