Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
Which one do you have in your area and which area do you live in? They're the same fast food joint, except different regions have different names.
In Missouri, it's Hardee's

Carl's Jr. here.
I prefer Whataburger over any fast food place though.

Where I lived most of my life - Carl's Jr.
Where I live now - Hardees.
Is Carl's Jr doing that "thickburgers" thing too?
Jingoism - Extreme and emotional nationalism, or chauvinism, often characterized by an aggressive foreign policy, accompanied by an eagerness to wage war.

They've got The Six Dollar burger, for $3.99.

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
Um, could you all actually tell me what general area you're in? I kind of want to see what the distribution is and "here" isn't really helpful.

Well, excuse me . . . .
I live in Denver. I believe there are only 2 or 3 Carl's Jr. locations in the Denver city limits. If I recall correctly, there are 2 Hardees locations in Greeley, which is about 50 miles north of Denver.

It's actually 5.79. Because that's the meal that brings the drink and fries, as do restuarant burgers, so it's only fair to compare the meal with the meal.
Thus, it is the Six Dollar Burger, only $5.79.

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
I live in Chicago and we have neither, however in my hometown (west central Illinois) they're all Hardee's, and they also have this other goofy chain called "Sonics" (same smurf in a different wrapper). Personally I prefer Steak 'n' Shake.
Great, now I'm hungry...

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
Steak and Shake is overpriced crap. I don't even like thier milkshakes. They always have ice in them..but it might be glass. Its probably glass.

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
Carls Jr. here in Vegas. But, as mentioned before (though erroneously stated as being a California only chain [we've got 'em in Nevada, too!]) In N Out Burger is by far the best fast food in the known world (though Whataburger is pretty damned good, too [though not any around here]).
What about these:
Hellman's or Best Food brands (mayonnaise, salad dressing, etc.)?
Edy's or Dryer's ice cream?
Smith's or Kroger stores?
Von's or Safeway stores?
Albertson's or Acme stores?
These are similar to the Hardee's/Carls Jr. thing. Named one thing in one place and something else in another.

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
Yes, but hardly a fast food place. More like a hamburger-specializing Applebee's.

Re: Hardees or Carl's Jr.?
mmmmm...fuddruckers
sonic isn't the same crap as hardees, they have better burgers and vanilla dr. pepper (tastes really damn good). but, if you ever go to plymoth, wisconsin make sure to go to the A&W drive-in. it's not like the other crappy A&W fast food joints, all the ingredients are fresh from right around the area (about 5-10 miles from johnsonville brots) i always get the steakburger there.
the only thing i can give steak n shake is their fries are pretty good and i always get a chocolate coke there.

Got both Hellman's and Best Food brands around here
Only Dryer's
No Kroger's stores but Safeway carries Kroger's brand items
Safeway, King Soopers, Albertson's and Cub Foods; never heard of Von's or Acme stores
