Re: interesting note in new jane's addiction CD jacket...
Here's the deal. Pirating music is wrong. I really don't understand how this is debatable. As in....
Fat sweaty republican smurfers in suits smoking cigars they lit with your cash.
What are we talking about?

Re: interesting note in new jane's addiction CD jacket...
I fail to see the big deal about this particular notice. First, the band (or whoever is speaking for the band) addresses their fans and thanks them for supporting the music. Then they make the request that it not be shared. Finally they follow it up with the usually "severe penalty" notice that can be found in any CD. I think they are simply trying to get people to respect their wishes, that's all. Apparently there wasn't any copy-protection on the disc. Nor were they like "You smurfing bastards are stealing all our money." Granted, some bands do not care about the money, but apparently Jane's Addiction does, and that's their right.
To me, the RIAA and the general public are constantly fighting each other, and it's starting to get out of control now with the lawsuits. I applaud Jane's Addiction for coming out in a responsible manner and basically respecting their fans. Now, can't we all just get along?

They are each multimillionaires.
At least their dealers are.
