What part of Vancouver do you live in? Greater Vancouver covers a lot of area.
West Van. What Mac store is your favorite around here? I usually go to the Mac Station in Yaletown or Burnaby.

Simple Computing I think it's called. Right by the Newton Wave Pool. As far as I know it's the closest mac only store to me.
Does your high School have a Rugby team?

I have heard of Simply, but haven't actually been there. Is it pretty good? And at West Van High (my school) we have a rugby team, yes. What's your school?

Even on the hottest day of the year, Lake Superior's average temperature is only 40 F. When am I not taking a Polar Bear Swim?!
When I learned to swim, I did it in Lake Superior - of course, that was in July. I definitely don't miss the Upper Peninsula, however!

Well, its the best place I've been to. There are not many Mac story in this part of the Lower Mainland. It's one room with mayby 10 varying macs in it. Anything from an old style iMac to the most recent towers. It's where I got my G4 933 and I got a damned good deal on it. Can't remeber what it was but it was at least 200 CAN less then the EDU price.
I go to Semiahmoo Secondary. I bet our Rugby team could whoop yours.
And that has nothing to do with the fact that I played on it lastr year
.
So waddya think about the 2010s? I think we should go for em. God knows that the Liberals and NDP have both wasted Billions on smurf that did nothing. At least we know that if we get the olympics our economy will get a kick in the ass. IMHO of course.

If we can blow it on the fast ferrys, we can sure as hell at least put it to good use with something like the Olympics. We're in so much debt, we might as well go all the way! But yeah, I'm with you, I think it's very likely we'll get a much needed economy boost from them. And I bet WVSS's girls rugby team could beat yours!

phhh. Our GRADE 8 GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY team could beat your Senior Boys Rugby team. While wearing high heels
!! Actually, at UBC in the engineering division, there is a annual footbal game. Men vrs. women. The women get the cleats and the big pads, while the guys are forced to wear dresses and high heels!!

Did it in Scouts before I quit (Damn those smurfing smurfs to hell!
). It wasn't bad at all getting in the water, but coming out was cold as some sort of reverse anti-hell! I think I'd like to do that again sometime, though, not with Scouts.

Re: Damn that was cold!!! Polar Bear Swims.
Yeah, I have a friend like you whose birthday is Dec. 13th, but he decided to start early and be younger rather than older, so he could be in grade 9, but is in grade 10 by choice. On the other hand, my other friend's birthday is Jan. 3rd, so she's almost a whole year older than my first friend, and she already has her learners, though I'll be following close behind. It's fun when you can drive, but no one else can
But from what I hear, people will be hitting me up for rides a lot.

Re: Damn that was cold!!! Polar Bear Swims.
With great ability
comes great responsability
. Oh well. I'll be a long time til' I get my own car. There is University and a PowerBook to buy in grade 12 first. But when I get one, it'll probably be an old beat up car, something thats not too rusty and has rear weel drive. Something that I can weld/beat/bodge backinto shape.
Maybe spend 700 bucks for it.
