Re: Archbishop condemns Vatican propaganda
You hypocrite! you say I have nothing to stand on, and then you talk about "launching massive efforts" to kill gays and that it is a "clear declaration of war". You have yet to show any truth in that, you won't argue - you only say "ha" and pretend like that's an answer. Start giving evidence or actual proof instead of pulling unsubstantiated quotes and shrugging off anyone who asks for evidence.
Let's get Best Buy to post good things about Clinton and Northwind to vote Republican too.
Hey, all I was asking for was some links between his claims and facts. You know, logical conclusions and all that. Is that too much to ask?

Just to add some Jesus Quote (tm):
Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
That does seem to fit the occasion.
George Bush: "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."
George Bush: "One of the hardest parts of my job is to try to connect Iraq to the war on terror."

...and could somebody please tell me why homosexuality is being treated as the biggest sin around these days? It's not on the top ten list, is it?
Can you think of any number of *legal* activities that this person or that person believes are frowned upon by God as being sins? Why harbor this belief that whatever God believes is a sin should also be illegal? If you think something is bad, then you shouldn't do it! I don't have to follow those rules, because I am not a christian!

Okay, okay, first let me thank you all for not equating Catholic to Christian. That hack of a religion (that offers no hope) upsets me daily.
Last time I checked, the only organized groups that were causing hate and discontent weren't really Christian groups. They were just highly misguided groups thinking they were doing God a favor. What a pack of morons.

I just hate it when someone discludes another group from their general religion because they are embarrassing. Even misguided Christians qualify as Christians. The Catholics are certainly Christians whether you agree with what they are doing or not.

technically, in God's eyes all sins are equal. (and remember, i've never claimed to be perfect) if you don't believe in God, that's your choice. God gave us all free will.

Okay but know we are stuck with defining terms;
If your definition of Christian is someone who calls him/herself a Christian then "You Win". And I could stand in my garage and call myself a car.
I like to think that someone who calls him/herself a Christian should be doing the things that Christ said to do, for example: "Love God, Love People" (Matthew 22:36-40 and yes, I paraphrased).
This isn't about being embarrassed, they just don't fit the definition. (Is this the part where I say that not all catholics blah, blah, blah....)

Quite frankly, I don't think anyone cares that someone else is a homosexual. It's lifestyle they can't handle. For the fun of it, check out:
http://www.amazinginfoonhomosexuals.com/sexuality.htm
People just can't handle it. So they try to condemn it.

Well I just wish that FOR ONCE, religious followers all around the world would learn to mind their own business in matters that do not concern them and that, especially in this country, they should know better than to let the teachings of their 'god' dictate our laws when there is no other apparent reason (ie, an infringement on someone else's rights) to do so.
Wishful thinking, I know.

Where are you going to start? Is it "Catholics worship Mary" or maybe "confession isn't in the Bible" ? Maybe you'll pull some wonderful "facts" from Jack Chick to support your arguments!
Here, here's some help:

I see nothing wrong with his avatar, from a Christian point of view. God made boobies and pretty girls. It's all ok. Unless you get into the lust part, as was pointed out.
