Safari's Hidden debug Menu

In the last issue (Sep 2003) there is an interesting letter, Safari debug hidden Menu .
I open the Terminal and type the commeand:

defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1

But nothing happen.

How I have to SAVE it.
How I have to enter it.

I Try many ways and none work.

Help, because I need that, so I camn stop using the Explorer.

make sure that safari is closed when you do this

there is no immediate feedback to this command.
when using the terminal it is usually correct to assume that no news is good news.

Works for me, Safari was open, too.

BUT I had to relaunch it to get the change. I wasn't even in root when I did it.

I have the BSD subsystem installed though.

I just followed the directions exactly and it worked.  I have no special add-ons installed on my system.
