control strip annoyance

I can't figure out how to get my control strip back down to the bottom of the screen where it should be. Ever since I had my desktop outputted to the tv, and switched the monitor back again, it has been hovering about an inch above the bottom of the screen. This happened to me once before and  reinstalling the os fixed the problem but I'm not doing that every time I want to switch to the tv. I want to know if there's anything I can reset/delete in the system folder that will fix it. thnx.

On the school playground, two kids in kindergarten were arguing about something, and one of them started crying. A teacher comes up to them and asks what is wrong. The kid who is crying points to the other kid and goes "he insulted my operating system!"

Hold down the option key and try dragging it down the screen. You can also manipulate it in other ways, such as putting it on the opposite side of the screen.

Re: control strip annoyance

Denibriliny,

I also have an 8500/Sonnet G3 card. Just last week I had 4 sticks of 128MB Ram installed plus a Yamaha burner. My computer tec guy says that the 8500 is still the best AV machine Apple built although he says it was not designed for easy upgrading.

Anywhoo, I am still in OS 8.6 and thinking about going up to 9 something.

Is it worth going to OS 9 ?
