I don't really like school, but some things I enjoy. I like to see my friends and I like to walk around in a sea of people where no one is looking at or thinking about me in the least. I like to see my teachers sometimes, too. What do you like?

I liked when it ended, and being able to bullsmurf everything for 4 years and still graduate with a 3.2. Pretty boss there. big_smile

I enjoyed not doing smurf all day, mocking the school and the dumbasses in it with my friends, not doing any work, and still being valedictorian.

I enjoy the social life and minimal amounts of work. Not what I should be getting out of high school, but they're my favorite things nonetheless.

i hate it, why the smurf do they give the frickken kindergarteners in elementary school a nap time, but not the seniors? confused cry sad ima go now thanks a lot cry

i liked playing all the cliques off against each other. i wasn't popular, but it was fun to manipulate the people who were... big_smile

i liked having tiny classes with people who got all my nerdy jokes.

i liked graduating the most. college is so much better. so much better...

I miss having teachers who actually know my name or at the least could recognize me. And classes where I didn't have to study in all my free time just to pass them. Oh, I also liked the 'free' part.

I like how the teachers were held accountable for actually teaching you...

In college, they really don't care, which =lots of laziness... for me, anyways...

College and High school have their ups and downs, but overall I so prefer college. The teachers don't put you on a leash and make you move through the material at such a rediculously slow speed. You also have the freedom [and responsibilty] to do your work whenever you want to.

So far, that is the only downside I see about college. I also left high school a year early which made it harder and easier at the same time.

I like the real world applications of the stuff you learn in college. Science classes are like that anyway, it makes the rudimentary physics you go through in high school feel like a cake walk or they were just keeping you occupied until you were old enough to really start to learn this stuff.

Not being burdened by English/Lit classes anymore rocks a lot.

yeah lit classes sucks so much if you went into the book you had to read.
Another thing I miss is my jewelry making class. I made so much stuff in the class I turned a study hall into a second period of it and just worked on what I wanted to. I still work on some basic chain link stuff but I have no open flames to solder anything together. in my dorm room.

Also I miss thinking "ok I'll blow this assignment off because I dont want to do it." here every assignment I've had seems massively important.

I loved high school. It was the only public school I really did like or really cared about. I was around so many friends and people who I'd known for years, many since elementary school. I knew everybody and fit in almost everywhere. I knew most of the teachers, and they treated me like an adult. I had good grades and got to take a lot of classes I wanted to take.

After I got out of there, my first year of college felt like a major slap in the face. I took a year off and have come back, and I've just finished adjusting.

My advice about high school is to enjoy it as much as possible. I won't say it's the best years of your life, but they can be great.

I liked having my own desk, going camping, plant and animal research, potluck lunches, making movies, sleeping on the floor, canoeing, biking, helping at the zoo, rock climbing, fishing, snow shoeing, after school clubs, socratic seminars, and pretty much everything else.

i enjoyed not having to think about what i want to do with my life and pondering the big stuff all the time.... all i had to do was rock up each day, see my friends, and sit through class.... that was the life.

Pity that simplicity of things can't last.... I think thats why i love watching anime so much - everythings so simple and peachy all the time. shrug
