Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
he best mouse ever, Apple pro mouse
HA! in your dreams. any mouse w/out a right click can't be the best mouse ever.
Kensington Studio all the way.
I agreed with the Apple Pro... until I got a mouse with more than one button.
It is still the best Apple branded mouse.

Apple Pro (black)
I am a one-button fanatic. Extra buttons are what keyboards are for. A scroll wheel might be nice, but there are at least four other ways to scroll on a Mac, so I don't miss it.

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
Best. Mouse. Ever.
Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical. I have one at work and one at home.
That looks similar to mine... but mine is cordless and came with a cordless keyboard as well.
![]()
I tried the wireless and it tracked like poop. Maybe I just got a bad one. But for a stationary computer, I'll take a corded mouse that offers better tracking (the wireless version has one tracking laser, the corded has 2 - but now that I've said that someone will point out that I'm wrong. I hope I'm not wrong).
I have the wired one and it tracks great, I love it. Long Live The Cord!!! just kidding, in all honesty though I want the kensington (Studio Mouse) but I have heard nothing of battery life, how long does the mouse last off of one charge??? I must know

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
When I bought my Lombard, I also bought a graphite hockey puck mouse.
Then, when Apple introduced the Pro Mouse, I bought one.
The pro mouse broke (the cable thingie) and now I'm back with the Graphite hockey mouse on my 12" PowerBook
If Apple was still selling black pro mouse, maybe I would buy one. I can't stand the white one.

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
I'm with Ramza, MacFanatic39, EmAn and Ryan 1524 with the MX-700. Just got it on Monday. It's hooked up to my G4 wind tunnel.
I'm also with Bixman, I got a "Pro Studio" optical, wireless, white mouse from CompUSA. I use that on my old G3 tower (upgraded to G4)
And...
I'm also with car121_007 and iZoe , I carry my iOptiJr. in my laptop backpack for my 12" powerbook. I'm waiting for someone to make a nice, little bluetooth mouse that matches the aluminum powerbooks.
I'm surprised how many of you here still use the Apple Pro mice. I can't go back to a one button mouse. I'm used to the one button track pad on my Powerbook, but as soon as my hand hits a mouse, it's looking for that right click. Of course I still have my Apple Pro mouse connected to my G4. It's my backup in case my wireless goes down (which the CompUSA one did once).

I've been looking at this, but wasn't sure if it would work with a Mac.
Do you use it with any software, such as say, USB Overdrive??

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
Logitech MX-300 for me. I don't care about having 6 extra buttons on a mouse. I wish it did not have the application button on it, but oh well. All I need is a good optical with 2 buttons and a scroll wheel and I'm happy.

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
this mouse worked great for me until i got sick of the cord....
I'm happy with my one-day-old apple wireless mouse for now,
except that if I take my hand off of it it'll start slowly sliding down the
angled drafting table that I use for my desk
it hasn't fallen
yet, but i'm being extra careful......

Re: What Mouse Do You Use?
I've got three on my one Mac
1. A cordless Logitech Dual LED.
2. Wacom Intuos 2 mouse, and the tablet too.
3. And my good old ADB that came with my G3.
Cordless kicks ass, I use it as a remote for iTunes sometimes from across the room.
