Re: Apple Bluetooth Mouse?
I don't know much about these new bluetooth mice,
but if I were going to buy one, i would need to know
how responsive these things are to different machines
i.e. - If I have my powerbook sitting next to my dads
powermac, how's it going to know which computer
to respond to?
could anyone tell me this answer??
i guess you could turn bluetooth off on one computer when you are using the other, but that seems a little extreme.....

Re: Apple Bluetooth Mouse?
before your bt mouse will work (actually any bt device), it will search and detect bt host with "name", you click connect to "name" host and you are linkup(hopefully)

Basically bluetooth devices such as keyboards and mice are "Paired" with a computer. Each bluetooth device has its own "ID" in which the computer seraches for a mouse with that ID....That way if computers are within the 30ft range they dont get confuzed.

Re: Apple Bluetooth Mouse?
Logitech better have that MX 900 in stores a few weeks before Christmas so I can have my wife get it for her present to me! What's taking so long anyway?
