The Form Topic

This is a convenient form to help the members of minithink post useless general news item topics. In this heading you would put in a quick inflammatory statement to cause posters to become enraged.

Here you post a small, but useless snippet of the article you are posting. Make sure to find the most offensive part of the article and take it out of context. This will allow the readers to become even more angry and post early and post often.

Here is where you put an extremely inflammatory, and cynical analysis of the topic you posted. Be sure to put in a few mass generalizations and any other devices that could create strife, and in turn, more posts. Facts or accuracy is not important here.

Last, but not least, don't forget the Source

I hope this helps you in posting topics in the future. Please be sure to post on subjects such as Homosexuality, the Iraq war. America, Bush, and any other subject that has been beaten to death.

Thank you and welcome to minithink!

And this is where you put the obligatory one line put down.  Don't offer any support other than a harsh retort.

Re: The Form Topic

This is the point at which the opposing team makes a dumb reference to something unrelated to the story, but supposedly acts as a critique of the source, mostly claiming the source is biased and only spins or lies.  You should not address any of the points raised in the article or the story even if carried on all major new sources.

Never forget that at any moment an alternate topic may be created using any two noncontiguous words from any post in the thread.

Re: The Form Topic

Your topic wins when it is virulent and offensive enough to cause:

1) best buy or northwind to post in it
2) makes someone so angry that they leave Minithink forever, make a new username, and start posting again two weeks later.

And earns you a PM warning from a mod

Or goes on past 15 pages without anything new ever being added.

This is where I flame you and debunk your arguments because you don't take the time to use punctuation.

Re: The Form Topic

This is where I usually come in with a rambly four-page dissertation addressing some small point someone brought up erroneously. Just as I make my point four pages later, someone posts before me with a concise, well-written statement that says the same thing I did, only better.

George Bush: "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

George Bush: "One of the hardest parts of my job is to try to connect Iraq to the war on terror."

Re: The Form Topic

And for some unconnected reason one of the following two people groups feel oppressed by every topic that is mentioned:  gays or AZNs (gay AZNs however, do not feel oppressed)

Re: The Form Topic

Hmm...  So my question is thus: If we are all know the stereotypes so well, and I assume dislike hem, why don't we do anything about it?  Or are there just a few people who are keeping the intelligent comments from going forth?

This is where you make sure to add exclaimation points to every sentence!

The part below is where you manually type your name at the end of every post, because otherwise people would never be able to figure out who the author was!

Not that anyone here does that, do they? wink

This is the place in the thread where you change your avatar and demand everyone guess what you replaced with it-even though this has absolutely NOTHING to do with the subject at hand.
