Mac HALO goes beta...
According to IMG Mac HALO goes external beta this week. Hmm. If we are looking at a 3-4 week beta run and another 2 weeks for final touches... just might make it befoe Xmas. 
And in other news IMG reports an impending patch for UT2K3.

Not as good as a concurrent release...but *shrug* gg Micro$uck.
I fail to see how Westlake needing time to finish porting the PC code is Microsoft's fault.

For buying Bungie out and NOT ensuring an equal release. Halo is Micro$ucks baby now, isn't it.

Yeah, except Bungie LET themselves get bought out. They were a private company, MS couldn't do anything without Bugnie agreeing to it. If its anyones fault, its Bungie's, now.
The game has been delayed for the Mac for what, 4 or 5 years? Pretty sure most of that was before Bungie was bought.

One hopes that there might be a demo to play with before then but nothing has been announced yet.

The PC demo was just released a few days ago... AFTER the full game was shipping.
