I imagine a large portion of [MA] won't be playing Halo due to hardware issues. shrug

Actually its wicked cool. And Halo is awesome. Hardware isnt a issue for me....you guys need to go buy new computers big_smile

I'd love to play halo, but I won't be buying it until I get a new computer, hopefully this january/february. I'm eyeing a G5, with the best gfx card. big_smile

I think this is a no-brainer. Halo is a FPS. And of course [MA] needs a division for EVERY FPS in the WORLD. roll

Hardly. There are FAR more FPSs out there than MA divisions.

I realize you were joking/sarcastic.. but, what, 3 FPS games? Thats hardly excessive. Compared to the probably 10+ currently popular ones (at least, on all platforms wink ), not counting mods.

tee hee. fps could be first person shooter or first person saberer (despite the fact that when using saber the game is usually in third person, but tongue )

What about Vendetta? It's not a sim, but it IS in space. And it's fun, albeit nothing more than a bare-bones engine test. We make our own fun, and there's a crapload of Mac users. The problem is the game doesn't really lend itself to clanage and a lot of the Mac users have been playing for well over a year and are too well-established to join a clan.

The server code is not completed, and the new release featuring the dynamic economy has been pushed back. Details will be posted on In Progress this coming monday.

Dynamic economy! Finally, it's almost here. The game is getting better, albeit the spammers/griefers. I haven't played in a month though, but the last time I did I was amazed at sector 9 station. I'd have to agree with the clan statement, it's not meant to have clans (yet).
