Now that the Halo release date has been set (December 3), when it comes are we going to have a Clan MA Halo clan?

Dude, chill out with the halo...

A Halo clan would be neat, even though i cant run the frickin program steamed

Dynamic economy! Finally, it's almost here. The game is getting better, albeit the spammers/griefers. I haven't played in a month though, but the last time I did I was amazed at sector 9 station. I'd have to agree with the clan statement, it's not meant to have clans (yet).

Ok, off topic, just an aside: What your in-game name and what nation? I'm Major_Rager for them Serco nation, at your service. Been playing for about a year now. The community's kinda gone down the smurf...

I play as either Haywired or ViralDoctor, usually the former, and both are on the gold nation (whatever its called). I started playing in January, with 3.1 or so. I felt it was more fun then, because it was simpler, but it does have cooler features and stuff now. It's sad that the community sucks, it could be alot more fun...

Just a few things about Halo.
I've played about half way though.
The game play rocks, and after all, isn't that what's important?
The hardware demands are ghastly.
My computer P4 3.2 gig/ FX 5800 (running at 5900ultra speed)
can bearly run the game normally with all on high. I still have AA and 2x anisotropic filtering on. I think the game isn't well optimised. It's the worst performing game I've run on this computer. However, it may run much better at lower settings and maybe the mac version will run better.

Bottom line is if you can run it, it's a must have because the gameplay has a great feel to it.

Apple has put the Halo requirements on it's site:

Power PC G4 700 Mhz or faster
Mac OS X 10.2.5
256MB RAM (iMacs req. 512MB)
Radeon 8500 or Geforce 2 MX with 32MB

Easy to pass over here. 1.4GHz, Panther, 1.5GB RAM, and a Radeon 9000 Pro.

And I'm definately in the clan. I get to be the driver! big_smile

Just remember "minimum" requirements don't necessarily mean "playable."

In particular, the 9000pro may be a little weak to play Halo well.

apparently I have a nVidia Geforce4MX with 64MB

I really hope my 9000pro will be able to play this game at decent levels. After buying the game, I only have $20.

I'm only 15, so I really wont have the money to upgrade anytime soon. sad

But the thing is, I have an assload of RAM and a fast processor to boot (double the required speed). And even then, my card is double the required VRAM.

I bought the pc version and have been playing online. This is a game where serious teamwork will make for great teams. I will definitely be joining a halo clan. Hopefully MA will make one. I volunteer to head it if so desired by the upper folks.

If Ear is going to lead it that's great. I think it's also great if Gator is volunteering as well. I do plan on joining, Halo IS a great game.

If Ear is leading it then I am satisfied with that. I just want to make sure this gets off the ground. It sure is a lot of fun and there are many more styles of play than that which ut offers.
I will put a Banshee between your eyes before I let you take my Assualt rifle from these fingers.......
