The new Strokes album is very good, better than their first. They are probably one of the "coolest" bands currently in operation.

I'm going to put a vote in for Jay-Z's "The Black Album" ... I mean, I listen to all sorts of music and I don't usually like rap or anything, but this album just blew me away. If you haven't heard it, I definitely recommend it (or god I'll even send you the whole thing).
