Finished my first protein
Well it only took 9 days, but I finished my first work unit 3 days ahead of schedule. This is a lot a pressure.

How about leaving folding running all the time using the command-line client http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandegrou … SX-3.12.gz . Here's what I do:
1) Open Terminal
2) Drag OSX-3.12 to the Terminal
3) Bring Terminal to the front
4) Press & and [enter]
Now, when you quit the Terminal and logout, Folding will continue to run.

Re: Finished my first protein
Thanks for the tip, but I try to leave it running all the time. The problem is that it sucks the life out of my battery quickly. So I ususally turn it off in the evening during my "computer" time. I'll get better at remembering.

Re: Finished my first protein
Oh yeah! #281 and climbing
Actually I have decided to set a realistic goal. I would like to try a get into double digits. I think that's about all my puter can handle, and it gives me incentive to keep folding.

Altenburg - I challenge you to a race to spot number 200. Why? Because I need something to keep me interested. Interested?

Your goal should be to beat oversclockers.com4783484 or what ever his name is. Some basterd who decided to smurf around with the teams posistions.

Shows what I know...I thought he was talking about the "booboo" and Tony had already corrected it manually. I never thought I'd say this but, thanks for the insult.

Re: Finished my first protein
Halbie had it right
Batard isn't on our list, and isn't going to be, if we did than our illustrious moderator Benighted Bastard would have to change his screen name
no need to filter dodge that one!

Then, I take it that your misspelling was unintentional.

Re: Finished my first protein
Hi,
Halbie, I don't fold under the name Altenburg, but one similar to Evert, a friend of mine. When he passed me, I joined him to move him up the ranks quicker.
So, I won't try to chase you.
Bye for now,
Bert
