The Willow Tree - Albion Band
-This one needs an explaination the Willow tree is a Morris dance (aka dressing in ribbons and bells and trying to hit someone with a big stick while drinking too much beer) tune in the middle of the dance the dancers all rub their eyes and pretend to cry. There are also words to the tune which explain the need to cry:
Once they said my cheeks were red
But now they'er scarlet pale
For I like a silly girl believed his flattering tale
He sore he'd never deceive me
And I like a silly belived he
The moon ans stars they brightly shone
Over the willow tree.
