Skee did one of mine too. I was pleasantly surprised. It was my very first avatar here, a winking version of the Picasso-esque face from the old Mac OS. He added a transparent background so it looked right whether my post was on a white or gray background. It was cool.

I change my avatar regularly though, so it didn't last. I use my signature like most people use their avatar.[/list]

Skees is the best, he did the same for the background in my first cartoon style avatar, made it transparent, really improved the looks. up
